EstroG-100® is a standardized proprietary herbal complex of the dried root of Wilford’s Cynanchum (Cynanchum wilfordii), Sok-dan (Phlomis umbrosa), and Giant Angelica (Angelica gigas), which has been proven to be a natural remedy for relieving menopausal symptoms in women. However, the herbal roots of Wilford’s Cynanchum, Sok-dan, and Giant Angelica have been used traditionally by both women and men for over 400 years. Wilford’s Cynanchum supports muscles and bones. Sok-dan supports the connective tissues in muscles and bones. Giant Angelica supports respiratory and cardiovascular health. Additionally, EstroG-100® has received a patent showing its anti-fatigue and sleep effects through in vivo animal tests.
EstroG-100® has been studied in five clinical studies in women over 40 years of age, including those in pre-menopause, perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause, but there is no study on premenstrual syndrome (PMS). However, as the physical and psychological symptoms of PMS are similar to those of menopause, EstroG-100® may be effective in relieving PMS symptoms. Also, in preliminary in vitro studies (test tubes, culture dishes, etc.), it has been shown that EstroG-100® reduces prolactin levels as a biomarker of PMS.
